It seems a little late in the festival season to premiere new music, but that hasn't deterred Steve Angello from doing so. The Size Records founder and former 1/3 of progressive house supergroup Swedish House Mafia played out an ID at Ultra Europe in Split, Croatia that's sure to have the EDM blogosphere buzzing.

It seems a little late in the festival season to premiere new music, but that hasn’t deterred Steve Angello from doing so. By what we can hear from the video above, the track begins with a strong yet wistful male vocal before spilling into a folky breakdown. As practically every line of the verse begins with “Remember,” there’s a decent chance that’ll be the name of the official release – but you can never be too sure.

Overall, the track is a lot more formulaic than Angello’s other most recent release. “Children of the Wild” marked an interesting departure for the Swedish artist and we were excited to see him explore the new sound, but there will always be pressure to take the safe route as an artist.
