Lionsgate has unveiled a new trailer for this year’s hotly anticipated franchise topper The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, and as one might expect, it’s a rousing and star-stuffed preview that promises the epic conclusion to the YA blockbuster phenom that fans deserve.
Some long-time viewers of the franchise, which will span three books and four films (not counting possible spinoffs), complained that The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 felt too much like cinematic foreplay, and the new preview for this final chapter seeks to set their fears to bed – if this look at the film is any indication, Mockingjay – Part 2 may well be the action event of the year.
Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Academy Award®-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Willow Shields, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Julianne Moore, Mahershala Ali, Natalie Dormer, Wes Chatham, Elden Henson and Evan Ross all have roles in the sure-to-be action-packed series finale.
