Get An Overload Of Guns And Gore From Doom’s Gamescom Trailer

There’s no denying that the upcoming Doom reboot will be fast, as evidenced by its E3 trailer. That said, the game’s latest promo video — which comes to us from Germany’s gamescom expo — somehow manages to be even faster, showing incredibly quick and fluid gameplay that should please fans of old-school arcade shooters.

This new look marks the introduction of Pinky the double-barrelled shotgun, which is shown as a devastating lead-shooter. It’s highlighted in the video’s description on YouTube, but what’s funny is that it’s not the only weapon used within. In fact, there are quite a few different guns utilized throughout the many visceral (and gory) gameplay montages that make up this trailer.

Doom will bring all of the above to consoles and PC come Spring 2016, thanks to id Tech 6.
