Gotham Season 2 Debuts New Posters And Stills

The first season of Fox's small screen telling of the origins of Batman and his menagerie of bad guys was generally considered a success, though many would also agree that there was significant room for improvement at the same time. Can the second season of Gotham (dubbed "Rise of the Villains") maintain the level of quality while addressing the show's problems? If these stylish new stills and posters are anything to go by, it's certainly on the right track.

Joining the likes of Penguin, Riddler, and Catwoman will be another couple of ne’er-do-wells for Gordon and Bullock to keep an eye on: James Frain (True Blood) and Jessica Lucas (Gracepoint) as Theo and Tabitha Galvan. The latter will be better know to DC Comics fans as Tigress, but we don’t know if she’ll be suiting up as that supervillain on the show just yet.

This pair are definitely bad news, though. Apparently they’ll be coming across friendly and altruistic upon their arrival to the city, but soon some very dark secrets will be dragged to the surface.

Gotham returns to Fox on Monday, September 21. Check out the new stills and posters above and let us know if you’ll be tuning in.
