Following on from those initial snaps of Jon Bernthal looking fairly beat up as Frank Castle on the set of Marvel and Netflix’s Daredevil, we have another batch of images featuring the former Walking Dead actor doing the beating, up as he lays the smackdown on some goon that was unfortunate enough to cross his path.
As you can see, the Punisher’s trademark skull tee-shirt is still nowhere to be seen – Â in fact, we’re not even certain the character will wear it at all, though the safe money is that it’ll show up at some point during these new episodes. Castle is expected to serve as an antagonist of Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock at first, but chances are they’ll wind up joining forces as the season progresses to take down some larger threat.
Daredevil season 2 will also introduce G.I. Joe: Retaliation actress Elodie Yung as Elektra, and though we’ve had no word on casting just yet, there are rumors that the villainous Bullseye could make an appearance, too.
