It’s been a busy week on the production of Joe and Anthony Russo’s anticipated threequel, with Chris Evans’ Captain America and Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes both spotted over the last few days. Now, it’s time to turn the attention to one of the franchise’s newcomers in Boseman’s would-be king of Wakanda.

Of course, given that these photos are from eyes on the ground, they are a little unflattering, with Boseman – or a stunt double – harnessed in to safety ropes as he takes to the German rooftops. It would be foolish, then, to drawn any conclusive verdict on Marvel’s interpretation of T’Challa’s jet-black suit, though it’s still a nice peak behind the scenes regardless.

Having signed on to play Black Panther only last year, Chadwick Boseman – along with Tom Holland’s younger Spider-Man – will make his debut appearance in Joe and Anthony Russo’s Captain America: Civil War. He joins a star-studded, superpowered ensemble that will be divided by the controversial superhero legislation, and a report published just yesterday appeared to give us an early insight in the specifics behind the global fallout.

As for Boseman’s role in the film, here’s an early, slightly obscured glimpse at the Wakanda prince.

Captain America: Civil War opens on May 6, 2016.
