A brand new trailer for NHL 16 has emerged, offering us a rather detailed look at the game’s improved Be a GM mode. Appreciably, it’s also focused on my favourite team, the frustrating Toronto Maple Leafs, although it shows a much better TML roster than we’re accustomed to.
From the looks of things, a lot of time was spent overhauling the front office simulator, to allow for a much more realistic experience. That’s because, unlike in previous years’ iterations, you can now adeptly manage both your NHL team and its AHL affiliate, and can even go so far as to call team meetings. Furthermore, player morale will factor in, as each individual will have its own personality that you’ll have to take into account. That, alone, should make things more interesting.
NHL 16 is shaping up to be a great addition to the venerable sports franchise, and we can’t wait to take the full thing for a spin on September 15th.
