That was Jeremy Renner’s response when asked when he thinks we’ll see his superteam, The Avengers, meet Marvel’s space adventurers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, while being interviewed on stage at Wizard World Comic-Con in Chicago.

Surely we’ll see Groot, Rocket, Gamora, Drax and Star Lord help out Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in the Infinity War movies…. right? Well, though most fans seem to think that both teams occupying the same movie universe means it’s a forgone conclusion that they’ll all cross paths at some point, it’s just not necessarily the case – at least in the foreseeable future.

Renner may have been joking around with his comments in the video, but his point about the sheer number of characters is a valid one: the logistics of getting both of those massive casts to share the same screen really doesn’t bear thinking about.
