There’s a lot of speculation going around that new Gotham baddie, Theo Galavan (James Frain), will actually turn out to be another incarnation of Ra’s al Ghul, and all his talk of monsters coming to “cleanse this city in blood and fire” in this latest promo for the show’s upcoming second season would certainly seem to back that theory up.
But would Fox choose to revisit the character so soon after he was utilized on the CW’s Arrow? We do know Galavan is an established DC Comics villain, but there are those that think he’ll really be a new take on demented psychologist Hugo Strange – or possibly even a harbinger for the Court Of Owls.
[zergpaid]Whoever he turns out to be, there’s no doubt he has some very bad intentions for Gotham City – and he’s not the only one. The promo also gives us flashes of many more of the villains that are set to rise this year, such as Jerome/Joker, Edward Nygma/Riddler and Theo’s sister Tabitha, AKA Tigress.
Gotham season 2 premieres Monday Sept. 21, 8/7c, on FOX.
