At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Arrow star Stephen Amell greeted fans in Hall H wearing a brand new costume. Confirming that “The Arrow” will become Green Arrow (finally!) in season four, the actor also revealed that Starling City is about to be rebranded as Star City, and while neither of those things sound like a big deal on the surface, these are two decisions that are bound to make fans of the comics very happy.

Of course, it’s really no wonder that they’re looking to win back the support of viewers, especially after season three has been widely hailed as a disappointment!

Regardless, a very cool new poster has been released today which offers up our best look yet at Oliver Queen in his new superhero costume. It’s certainly an improvement over what’s come before, but you have to wonder why it took them all these years to get to what fans have wanted to see since day one; the Green Arrow.

After defeating his most formidable foe to date and riding off into the sunset with longtime flame Felicity Smoak, Oliver Queen left Starling City with the hopes of beginning a new life. But will Oliver ever truly be able to leave behind his past as the Arrow, and, if so, what becomes of the team he has worked so hard to assemble? Will Diggle, Thea, and Laurel be left to continue Oliver’s crusade without him? And with Malcolm Merlyn having ascended to the top of the League of Assassins as the new Ra’s al Ghul, is anyone really safe?

All of those questions will be answered when Arrow returns to The CW on October 7th.
