When announcing that Castle Crashers Remastered would release in just a few days on September 9th, developers The Behemoth remarked that it’s been a full seven years since the original launched for Xbox 360. While they seem surprised by this stretch of time, some readers may be wondering whether a seven year remaster is really that worthwhile?
Well, fear not; The Behemoth are also quick to assert that the new edition of their game benefits massively from the new technologies of the new console generation and assure gamers that the remastered release will bring about a real advancement on the original.
The noted improvements as follows:
-New multiplayer mini-game called Back Off Barbarian
-Five times larger texture sizes than the original!
-Twice the framerate of the original! (60 frames per second)
-Performance updates, gameplay tweaks
