It wasn’t all that long ago that Electric Daisy Carnival organizers Insomniac Events wowed festivalgoers with the latest installment of their world-renowned three day massive, but it looks like they’re already putting in work on next year’s festivities. It’s not lost on most music fans that the 2016 edition of the festival will also mark its 20th anniversary, and if the official trailer is any indicator, they plan to up the ante on all fronts.
For the first time in years, the festival will not take place from June 19th-21st – rather, it will fall on the dates of June 17th-19th. “Early owl” tickets will go on sale Monday, September 21st, in an apparent attempt to give fans the opportunity to purchase tickets before Nevada’s new entertainment tax will be applied to them on October 1st.
