Learn More About The Infinity Stones In Avengers: Infinity War Featurette

The Avengers: Age of Ultron Blu-ray doesn't offer much in the way of special features. There's a handful of deleted scenes, a director's commentary, a gag reel, and a couple of featurettes. One of the latter has now found its way online though, and it gives us an in-depth look at each of the Infinity Stones and the role they've so far played in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we build towards Avengers: Infinity War.

One of the latter has now found its way online though, and it gives us an in-depth look at each of the Infinity Stones and the role they’ve so far played in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we build towards Avengers: Infinity War.

This “Infinity Six” featurette not only explains the role of each Stone, but also teases the build-up to the epic two-part finale of Phase 3, which will act as the culmination of everything the MCU has been building towards since Thanos first showed his face at the end of The Avengers back in 2012.

Avengers: Infinity War is set to be released on May 8th, 2018, with Part 2 scheduled to follow May 3rd, 2019. Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely are set to re-team co-directors Joe and Anthony Russo for the films, which will apparently shoot back to back starting next October.
