The teaser – and that is most definitely all it is – doesn’t feature any actual live-action footage unfortunately, but there is some cool animated imagery and another haunting song in the vein of Daredevil‘s music, which could well be used as the show’s theme.

In the vid we see flashes of what could be moments from Jones’ life leading up to where we find her in the series – including a shot of her old superhero private eye business, Alias Investigations. There’s also a purple-tinted glimpse of the character standing in the street, which is reminiscent of our first introduction to Matt Murdock the initial Daredevil promotion.

Marvel and Netflix’s Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter in the title role, and also features Mike Colter as Luke Cage, David Tennant as the villainous Zebediah Kilgrave, AKA Purple Man, Carrie-Anne Moss as “Harper” and Rachael Taylor as Patsy “Hellcat” Walker.
