Sebastian Stan Says Captain America: Civil War Will Be Brutal Like We Haven’t Seen Before

We've got less than a year to go until Captain America: Civil War hits theatres, but up to this point we really haven't heard very much about it. Not to mention we still haven't seen much in the way of official promo material. Everyone involved in the project is keeping tight-lipped, which is understandable, but from the few things we have heard so far, we're certain that we're in for one of Marvel's most exciting films yet.

In fact, not only may it be the studio’s most exciting outing to date, but it also may be their most brutal one, as well. At least, that’s if Sebastian Stan is to be believed.

The actor plays Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and while chatting with us on the red carpet for his new film The Martian this week, he opened up a bit about what to expect from Captain America: Civil War, saying that it will feature some brutal fight scenes that are unlike anything we’ve seen from Marvel before.

He also mentioned that he doesn’t have much interest in seeing Bucky take over as Captain America from Steve Rogers, like he does in the comics. As Stan mentions, the decision isn’t ultimately up to him anyways, but it’s not something that he’s eager to see happen, regardless.
