In the southwest region of the U.S., few New Years Eve events are as highly anticipated as Decadence NYE in Denver, Colorado – but as far as the Internet is concerned, that just makes it a bigger target. In the wake of a festival season during which a parade of celebrities like Shaquille O’Neal and Ruby Rose landed high-profile DJ gigs, Denver-based DJ/producer and certifiable SoundClown Joman Photoshopped his own series of farcical lineup announcements for the massive.
The vast majority of the announcements aren’t even electronic music artists, and a couple are straight-up inanimate objects. A common thread among the memes is the inclusion of political figures such as Donald Trump, Hilary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, but other celebrities, fictional characters and even vague cultural stereotypes found their way into the gallery.
Meanwhile, Global Dance has announced that they will reveal Decadence NYE’s actual lineup in the week to follow.
