Christoph Waltz’s Villain Taunts Bond In New TV Spot For Spectre

A new TV spot for Spectre (James Bond 24) has been released, and it features more clues about the true identity of Christoph Waltz's villain.
This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

Is Christoph Waltz’s Oberhauser really the classic 007 villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld? This new TV spot for Sam Mendes’ Spectre doesn’t provide a definitive answer unfortunately, but it’s worth noting that the actor’s face is once again concealed here. That could be a sign that he shares the same scars as the Ian Fleming creation, something which would obviously give his identity away immediately.

Aside from that, there are also some great new action sequences from Spectre featured in the preview above, making the wait for the movie even more difficult. Seriously, this film can’t come soon enough.

In Spectre, a cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE. Daniel Craig reprises the role of 007 for the fourth time in the movie, and Spectre is produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, from a script by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade.

The movie is set to be released on October 26th in the UK and will reach North America a couple of weeks later. The Spectre cast also includes Naomie Harris Ben Wishaw, Rory Kinnear, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista, Léa Seydoux and Andrew Scott.

Check out the new spot above and let the countdown to the next James Bond film begin.
