Zhu Drops Another Huge Collab With A-Trak And Keznamdi

As part of his cryptic Genisis Series, Zhu has debuted “As Crazy As It Is,” a collaboration with A-Trak that features Jamaican vocalist Keznamdi. Following close behind Zhu’s incredibly well-received AlunaGeorge collaboration, “Automatic,” the track was “leaked” a day before its debut – but either way, the densely packed release schedule so far suggests that more will follow shortly.

Largely driven by instrumentals as Zhu tracks of late are known to be, “As Crazy As It Is” features a markedly slower tempo than his other songs, but with a distinctly Jamaican flavor. Understated synth work allows the delicate piano melody to compliment Keznamdi’s vocals, making the track a novel addition to Zhu’s budding discography.

As we’ve mentioned before, A-Trak and AlunaGeorge are only two of many names on a blinking crossword puzzle that forms the backdrop of the Genesis Project website. Since Bone Thugs ‘n’ Harmony, Skrillex, and apparently an artist that goes by “V7ncouver” also stand out among the names, it stands to reason that we can expect collaborations with those artists to follow shortly.
