Developed by Platinum Games, Transformers: Devastation is a classically-inspired beat ’em-up from the guys who’ve practically mastered the genre. They’re front and centre this time around, too, as this new look mixes visceral gameplay with developer interviews.

What you’ll walk away with after watching is a good sense of what Platinum’s plan was, as well as the knowledge that the game will feature a very tough challenge mode in addition to its core campaign. That, and a very probable desire to go hands on with it if you’re a huge fan of the classic Transformers animated series or the more recent movies.

Transformers: Devastation will roll out onto Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 6th.
