The first episode of Minecraft: Story Mode, titled The Order of the Stone, is less than two weeks away from its October 13 digital launch. And now, to drum up further hype, Telltale and Mojang have released a new trailer detailing some of the lore that will factor into the episodic adventure game.
Rather than primarily focus on the main characters, the trailer details the titular Order of the Stone, a group of legendary warriors famous for defeating a wicked dragon. It was previously confirmed that series protagonist Jesse and friends will witness a terrifying evil unleashed at the start of the series, and will set out to locate the order for help as a result.
The Order of the Stone will see a digital release across PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on October 13, with iOS and Android quickly following on October 15 and Wii U and PS Vita versions at an unspecified later date.
