Dave Bautista Weighs In On An Avengers/Guardians Of The Galaxy Crossover

A popular fan theory is that Avengers: Infinity War will see Earth's Mightiest Heroes teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy to battle Thanos together. It's not hard to see where this has come from, either, especially as it seems like a natural next step for the two franchises to collide. Despite that, this is still something which has yet to be confirmed by Marvel.

A popular fan theory is that Avengers: Infinity War will see Earth’s Mightiest Heroes teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy to battle Thanos together. It’s not hard to see where this has come from, either, especially as it seems like a natural next step for the two franchises to collide. Despite that, this is still something which has yet to be confirmed by Marvel.

Regardless, many cast members from both the The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy have expressed enthusiasm for this to happen, and the latest is Dave Bautista (Drax). Here’s what he said about it possibly happening in a recent interview to promote Spectre:

“[Laughter] Yeah, come on, man. Hell yeah. Yeah, of course I would. At the core of me is the biggest geek you’ve ever met. I’m a superhero fan first and foremost, and…of course, man, I want that to happen. It’s rumors right now, but, you know, I pray every day…and night, and afternoon, and after you walk out the door I’ll go pray and say, “Please let Drax be in ‘The Avengers.’ ” [Laughter] Yeah, I hope it’ll happen.”

It’s hard to argue with anything the wrestler turned actor is saying here, and the sight of every Marvel Cinematic Universe hero standing side by side in the movie is a must. Whether that will include The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy teaming up remains to be seen of course, and unfortunately, it’s probably going to be quite some time before we find out for sure.
