Brace yourselves, folks, we’re now a little over a month away from the release of Fallout 4, and Bethesda’s marketing machine is beginning to fire on all cylinders to welcome the arrival of the long-awaited sequel. Part and parcel of that campaign has been the inventive S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video series, detailing the various personal traits one would require to survive out in the Massachusetts wasteland.
Now, though, the esteemed developer has switched gears to cover all bases when it comes to Fallout 4‘s multi-platform release. First, that involves revealing the game’s install size across PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with Bethesda confirming that the file itself will run anywhere between “28-35 GB depending on territory and languages supported.” This largely comes down to the exhaustive voice acting and script that forms the backbone of the studio’s open-world title.
As for PC, many have wondered about the technical specifications required to run the post-apocalyptic game on their own personal rig. Well, wonder no more. Below you’ll find the minimum and recommended specs for Fallout 4 which are, by all accounts, largely manageable.

For those who pre-ordered the Pip-Boy edition of the sequel, which flew off shelves shortly after the game’s official unveiling at E3, Bethesda notes that the physical device that comes packaged with the premium bundle will be compatible iPhone 6/6s, iPhone 5/5s, iPhone 4/4S, Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy S4, and Samsung Galaxy S3, though any smartphone bigger than the models specified won’t fit the mould.
Fallout 4 launches across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 10.
