Now that the master of non-marketing has played it out live, we can confirm that it was for good reason - what we've heard makes us want Skrillex to trade Diplo out for Zhu the next time he decides to form an EDM super group.

Zhu‘s Genisis series has turned out some quality music, but the most highly anticipated track of the bunch has been his collaboration with bass music icon Skrillex. While the sound quality of the videos fans captured during Zhu’s performance at CRSSD festival leaves much to be desired, what can be heard is an effective marriage between Skrillex’s avant-garde bass wobbles and Zhu’s shimmering synth melodies.
