We recently found out that The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) could be joining Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder in Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok, and now a new report from Birth.Movies.Death suggests that they’ll have some additional company.

According to the site, not only will Banner play a “major role,” but on the duo’s “cosmic road trip,” they’ll come into contact with the Valkyrie – or more specifically, Brunnhilde the Valkyrie, who might be introduced as a major new female superhero. There’s also some chatter of her arch-nemesis, Enchantress, also making an appearance, but the site cautions that they haven’t heard anything concrete in that regard.

One thing they do seem fairly sure of is that the script by Christopher Yost is dark… like, living up to the “apocalyptic vibe” that the movie’s title evokes dark. Apparently Marvel felt it was actually a little too on the grim side, and that’s why director Taika Waititi was brought on board to lighten things up a touch and bring the tone closer to something MCU fans are more used to.

Thor: Ragnarok hits theatres on November 3, 2017.  Tell us, are you looking forward to a darker take on the character? Sound off below and let us know.
