Diplo Reveals That Major Lazer’s Peace Is The Mission 2.0 Is Coming

Anyone closely following the releases of Major Lazer knows that the EDM/dancehall outfit would be following up their most recent album, Peace Is The Mission with another titled Music Is The Weapon - but it appears as though the project's originator, Diplo, has decided to throw us all a curveball. According to the Mad Decent label head, Peace Is The Mission 2.0 will come out sometime in November.

Yesterday, Diplo took to Twitter to tease Major Lazer fans with the following

Peace was Major Lazer’s third studio album, and featured the platinum DJ Snake/MØ record “Lean On” among other memorable tracks. While the album was a bit of a mainstream departure from the outfit’s more traditional dancehall sound, it remains to be seen whether the upcoming effort will showcase a back-to-basics approach – or if the laundry list of collaborators will cast an increasingly wide stylistic net.

Either way, we’ll deliver more information on Major Lazer‘s Peace Is The Mission 2.0 as Diplo or any other Major Lazer collaborators make it available.
