It was recently revealed that Mark Ruffalo will reprise the role of Bruce Banner/The Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok, and the Avengers: Age of Ultron star has now talked about that for the first time in a recent interview.

While he obviously couldn’t give too much away about the team-up between the Green Goliath and God of Thunder, Ruffalo did seemingly confirm that we’ll see both Bruce and Hulk in the movie when he said, “I play Dr. Bruce Banner, and occasionally I turn into a big green, mean monster,” specifically in regards to his role in Thor: Ragnarok. The actor then went on to weigh in with what he’s most hoping to see happen in the movie:

“I am excited to keep coming back to this role. I see a lot of space for it to grow. I feel like there’s a lot of cool stuff to explore still, especially the relationship between Banner and Hulk. Hopefully, we’ll see the two of them in a scene together. That would be cool!”

It remains to be seen just how large of a role the Jade Giant is going to end up having in Thor: Ragnarok, but seeing these two heroes team-up as they head off on a cosmic road trip of sorts has a ton of potential.

With Taika Waititi at the helm, the movie is currently set to be released on July 28th, 2017, so stay tuned for further updates.
