Zoom Makes His Presence Felt In The Flash Season 2, Episode 6 Description

With the Reverse-Flash wiped out of existence in the season one finale of The Flash, the mysterious speedster Zoom is currently menacing Central City by sending Earth-2 villains to kill Barry Allen. He obviously hasn't had much success so far, but that may be about to change in the sixth episode of season two when he decides to take things into his own hands.

With the Reverse-Flash wiped out of existence in the season one finale of The Flash, the mysterious speedster Zoom is currently menacing Central City by sending Earth-2 villains to kill Barry Allen. He obviously hasn’t had much success so far, but that may be about to change in the sixth episode of season two when he decides to take things into his own hands.

Here’s the official description of that instalment of the series – titled “Enter Zoom” – courtesy of The CW:

After recent events, Barry (Grant Gustin) decides it’s time to confront Zoom and comes up with a dangerous plan. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) sides with Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) and deems it too dangerous for Barry to engage with the speed demon. However, Iris (Candice Patton) shows her support and brings forth a surprising ally. We see what Earth-2 Harrison Wells’ (Tom Cavanagh) life was like before coming through the breech. JJ Makaro directed the episode written by Gabrielle Stanton & Brooke Eikmeier.

This sounds like a huge episode of The Flash, especially if the Scarlet Speedster ends up finally coming face to face with Zoom. Even if that’s not the case though, we’re clearly building towards that happening, and even just exploring Earth-2 Harrison Wells’ past should lead to a lot of very interesting revelations (who Iris’ “surprising ally” is should be fun to find out, too).

The Flash‘s second season has been great so far, and it’s showing no sign of slowing down if this description is any indication.
