We had a general idea of when Street Fighter V would arrive, but Capcom has finally confirmed the exact date that we’ll get our hands on the title. During Paris Games Week, it was announced that the highly anticipated brawler would launch on February 16 in North America and Europe. As we already know, the game will only be available on PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.

Besides the release date announcement, Capcom also revealed that another classic face of the franchise would be making their return in Street Fighter V. Dhalsim, the Indian Yogi with a penchant for breathing fire, will once again suit up for another fight. Like his fellow returnees Ken and Charlie, Dhalsim sports a slightly different appearance, as he is now rocking a pretty grizzled white beard.

While we are still waiting to find out which new combatant will be joining the title’s final roster of 16 fighters, Capcom has confirmed that additional six characters will be released post-launch. Obviously, we do not know who these warriors will be (although there is plenty of speculation), but we do know how we’ll get them. Either using Fight Money, which is earned in-game, or Zenny, which can be purchased with real money, gamers can download the latest content as it is released.

We’ll continue to have coverage of Street Fighter V in the lead-up to its February release, so stay tuned!
