First Captain America: Civil War Trailer Coming With Star Wars: The Force Awakens?

Despite talk earlier today of the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War being attached to Spectre next month, it doesn't sound as if that's the case. In fact, we may have what feels like a very, very long time to wait until we get our first look at Marvel's biggest 2016 movie as, according to Collider, the first teaser trailer will be attached to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Despite talk earlier today of the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War being attached to Spectre next month, it doesn’t sound as if that’s the case. In fact, we may have what feels like a very, very long time to wait until we get our first look at Marvel’s biggest 2016 movie as, according to Collider, the first teaser trailer will be attached to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

That’s an understandable decision, but December 18th feels like a million miles away right now. However, it appears as if Disney want to keep the focus on Star Wars for the time being, and it’s easy to appreciate why they would have this Captain America: Civil War sneak peek attached to the biggest movie of the year (which is sure to keep breaking box office records way into January).

Of course, we’re always hearing conflicting reports about trailer debuts and they sometimes come out of nowhere, so for now, we may just have to wait and see.

You have to believe though that Disney won’t want to take any attention away from Star Wars with the promotional campaign for Captain America: Civil War, so saving the trailer for December and shifting the focus to it once The Force Awakens is out in theatres does make a lot of sense.

Either way, our first look at the movie is long overdue at this point.
