Extended Promo For Next Week’s Episode Of The Flash

Last night’s episode of The Flash brought some major changes to Central City, as Jay Garrick decided to leave the team, Harrison Wells from Earth-2 joined it, and Linda Park discovered that her doppelgänger is the villainous Dr. Light! Now, a new extended promo has been released which sheds some light on how exactly Barry Allen and the team are planning on going about taking the demonic speedster known as Zoom down.

After recent events, Barry (Grant Gustin) decides it’s time to confront Zoom and comes up with a dangerous plan. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) sides with Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) and deems it too dangerous for Barry to engage with the speed demon. However, Iris (Candice Patton) shows her support and brings forth a surprising ally. We see what Earth-2 Harrison Wells’ (Tom Cavanagh) life was like before coming through the breech.

We obviously now know that the “surprising ally” is Linda Park. She played a minor role as Barry Allen’s love interest in season one, but it’s great to see her brought back here to take on such an important role in what will clearly be a major episode of The Flash. Worryingly, that final scene in the trailer above definitely makes it appear as if Zoom is going to see through Team Flash’s big plan.

Regardless, we’ve so far only been treated to snippets of Zoom in action, so hopefully next week’s episode of The Flash will allow him to take centre stage in a major way.
