As you can see in the promo above, a new look at the movie is going to air on The Disney Channel this Friday. Both Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man got behind the scenes featurettes like this, but due to the age of those who tune into the network, they tend not to be too revealing or exciting when it comes to the interviews which are used.

However, they do tend to offer up brand new footage, and a glimpse of that – focusing specifically on the Millennium Falcon which was built on the UK set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens – can be seen here. There’s also a gorgeous new shot of the iconic spaceship arriving an an unknown planet, a great visual which is sure to get fans excited for this new take on Star Wars.

Starring original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and franchise newcomers, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to be released on December 17th.
