Smartly, Marvel has beaten the pirates to it by officially releasing the scene, and you can view it in the player above.

Many fans went into Ant-Man expecting to see The Wasp, and while a flashback featuring Janet Van Dyne was a pleasant surprise, Lilly never got the chance to suit up. However, seeing as Ant-Man‘s sequel is titled Ant-Man and The Wasp, we know for sure that she’ll be donning this costume, and this scene perfectly sets the stage for that to happen.

The Wasp was actually set to appear in Captain America: Civil War next year, but Kevin Feige has confirmed that they removed her from the script because it felt too much like she was being randomly shoehorned in for the sake of it. It’s easy to see why they want to be careful when it comes to introducing a key character like The Wasp, and we’re excited to see how she’ll be brought to life in the Ant-Man sequel.
