Arriving in tandem with a slew of new images for the conclusive sequel, today’s teaser is designed to ramp up the core conflict between Jennifer Lawrence’s returning heroine Katniss Everdeen and President Snow (Donald Sutherland), the power-mongering tyrant she’s destined to overthrow. From grand sweeping shots of Panem on the brink to the more heartfelt moments between Katniss and Prim, Mockingjay – Part 2 also harbors a lot of emotional beats amid its parade of CG-laden effects, and we’re hoping that shines through in the final feature.

Starring opposite Lawrence and Sutherland are Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Willow Shields, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Julianne Moore, Mahershala Ali, Natalie Dormer, Wes Chatham, Elden Henson and Evan Ross.

Slated for November 20, we’re fast approaching the arrival of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, and you can sate your appetite for dystopian action in the meantime via the gallery of new images below.

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow [Donald Sutherland] in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale [Liam Hemsworth], Finnick [Sam Claflin] and Peeta [Josh Hutcherson] – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to liberate the citizens of Panem, and stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.
