The UK duo’s latest release featured a collaboration on nearly every track, seeing Disclosure work with some major industry talent, including a new song with Sam Smith, “Holding On” with Gregory Porter, and “Magnets” with pop star Lorde. Serving as one of the biggest talents on the album, the Lorde collaboration was released as the fourth and final single to promote Caracal.

To celebrate the success of the track, Disclosure dropped a new VIP remix for “Magnets” this week, delivering a fresh update on the song. The duo draws on their Garage influences for the new version, stretching the track’s duration out to six minutes and switching out the chord progressions from the original for Deep House triads and bringing up the pace.

The original version has more of an immediate pop impact, but this new VIP remix is certainly more suitable for the dance floor, don’t you think?
