One of the most pleasant surprises in terms of movies last year was John Wick, the Keanu Reeves-led action flick that acted as a comeback of sorts for the actor and ended up being a hell of a lot better than anyone expected it to be. While far from a masterpiece, the slick action, stylish direction and strong lead performance from Reeves earned the film a dedicated fanbase, one which was no doubt instrumental in getting John Wick 2 off the ground.
With production now underway on the highly-anticipated sequel, some set photos and videos have begun to surface. While they don’t give us much to go on in terms of plot or what the titular hitman will be up to this time around, they do show off Reeves flexing his action chops, as well as Wick’s new dog that will no doubt be accompanying him in the film.

John Wick 2 is currently set for a 2016 release, and with production in full swing, expect to see a lot more from the set in the coming weeks.
