Tonight, Marvel FINALLY dropped the first trailer for what’s perhaps one of the most-anticipated films of all-time, Captain America: Civil War. The footage premiered on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where stars Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans made an appearance to talk a little bit about the upcoming Phase 3 movie. After revealing a couple of interesting tidbits, Kimmel finally released the trailer and seemingly broke the internet.

While it mostly just sets up the premise of the film, and teases the titular war that’s about to go down, there are definitely a number of notable scenes here that are worth pointing out.

For one, we finally get a look at Black Panther in action. Brief as it may be, seeing Chadwick Boseman all suited up and fighting is pretty damn awesome, and it’s nice to now have a little bit of an idea of we’re in for with the character.

Also notable is the absence of a certain webslinger. While it’s not surprising that Marvel is still keeping Spidey under wraps, a lot of people were hoping for at least a glimpse of him in this first trailer. I guess we’ll have to wait a little while longer for that, though.

Lastly, from how the preview was angled, it’s clear that the studio is billing this as a Captain America film. While that’s obvious from the title, I think fans were becoming a bit concerned that Cap would be shoved out of the spotlight due to how many characters would be showing up here. Thankfully, that doesn’t look to be the case, as this is most definitely Steve Rodgers’ story.

Those are just our initial thoughts, but stay tuned for more as we’ll be bringing you several in-depth articles over the coming days, breaking down everything you need to know about this first bit of footage. Until then, however, check out the new trailer above, as well as the official posters below, and let us know how excited you are for this one down in the comments section.

Captain America: Civil War opens on May 6th, 2016 and stars Downey Jr., Evans, Anthony Mackie, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman and Elizabeth Olsen, among others.
