Following last night’s news that Michael Bowen has been added to the cast of Gotham season 2 as Matches Malone, Variety reports that we’ll also see Lori Petty debut as a club hostess named Jeri when the Batman prequel series returns in early 2016.
From the sounds of things, the Tank Girl actress (last seen as Lolly on Netflix’s Orange Is The New Black) will not be playing an established DC Comics character, but then again, it’s always possible that’s exactly what she’ll turn out to be.

The flamboyant and enigmatic hostess of an underground club where mass murder and art are celebrated in equal measure, Jeri gives clues to Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) during his hunt for his parents’ killer, but she and her gang of merry maniacs are less helpful when Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) comes calling.
An enigmatic clue giver? Sounds very like a certain Riddler-in-waiting that we know. Whoever this Jeri ends up being, it sounds like Gordon has another villain to add to the ever growing roster of rogues.
Petty is expected to make her debut in the 14th episode of Gotham season 2, which returns from its Winter hiatus next year.
