We’ve seen the charred remains of Darth Vader’s helmet in a couple of the trailers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens and heard what seemed to be Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) having a little chat with it. Now, one of the new images unveiled in the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone confirms that the Sith-fanboy is indeed addressing what’s left of his idol. Talk about a one way conversation!

Aside from the Kylo/Vader face-off, we also have new pics of Rey (Daisy Ridley) and BB-8, Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) seemingly sharing a lighter moment with Finn (John Boyega), another angle of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) handing a blaster to his new young ally, and also the magazine’s awesome cover, which features several of the main cast members with their weapons drawn.

Starring original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker, alongside franchise newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to be released on December 18th, 2015.
