Square Enix today announced that Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below is now available on Steam. Having released earlier this year for Sony consoles, it is the first full-scale action RPG in the Dragon Quest series and comes from a legendary trio of creators, including series mastermind Yuji Horii, revolutionary composer Koichi Sugiyama and world-renowned artist Akira Toriyama.

Square Enix today announced that Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below is now available on Steam. Having released earlier this year for Sony consoles, it is the first full-scale action RPG in the Dragon Quest series and comes from a legendary trio of creators, including series mastermind Yuji Horii, revolutionary composer Koichi Sugiyama and world-renowned artist Akira Toriyama.

In the game, players will find themselves in a tempestuous city of Arba, where its once peaceful monsters have been driven into a frenzied rage. Square Enix’s title challenges you to take on the role of one of two heroes, which you can find out more about below:

As either the hero, Luceus, or the heroine, Aurora, players can joins forces with an iconic cast from previous Dragon Quest titles, including Alena, Bianca and Yangus, to bring the rampaging hordes of monsters to their senses and restore order to the kingdom! In this exhilarating action-RPG not only are players required to ravage their way through hordes of enemies, but also to use strategy to reach victory through the use of Monster Medals, equipment and item upgrades and customisable skill trees.

The game is available right now for PC gamers, meaning that they can now enjoy Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below just as much as Playstation players have been for months.
