Star Wars: The Force Awakens has done a pretty good job at keeping most of its plot a secret. When you think about it, we really know very little about the film and what the story will entail, and equally mysterious are the characters that are set to populate J.J. Abrams’ world. So, it’s a bit surprising then that Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy dropped a pretty major spoiler recently in a chat with the LA Times.
In a rather interesting feature, which we certainly suggest checking out in full, Kennedy revealed that at least one major character from The Force Awakens would be returning for Rian Johnson’s Episode VIII. Though it’s nothing too mind-blowing, the following can definitely be considered a spoiler, so turn back now if you’d rather not know who will make it out of the film alive.
