Original Story: Publisher 2K Games may have pushed upcoming strategy sequel XCOM 2 into 2016, but that’s hasn’t prevented the company from stoking excitement ahead of the game’s arrival, with today’s all-new trailer promising retaliation.

In tandem with the new reel of footage, 2K also locked down details for the Digital Deluxe Edition and Reinforcement Pack, which are to be priced at $75 and $20, respectively. Available to pre-order ahead of time, the premium Digital Deluxe Edition bundles together the sequel’s soundtrack along with the Reinforcement Pack, meaning you’ll get all the content below in one neat package.

Per 2K, here are the wares included in XCOM 2‘s Reinforcement Pack Content:

  • Anarchy’s Children: featuring rebellion-themed content with more dramatic soldier customizations (releasing spring 2016);
  • Alien Hunters: introducing new gameplay surrounding XCOM as an elite alien hunting unit tracking down “Ruler” aliens, along with a new mission, soldier customization options, and more powerful weapons and armor (releasing summer 2016);
  • Shen’s Last Gift: offering a brand new soldier class with unique upgradeable weapons, armor, and customization features, as well as an additional narrative-driven mission and map (releasing summer 2016).

As noted, the Reinforcement Pack is available to purchase separately for $20 – giving you immediate access to Anarchy’s Children, Alien Hunters, and Shen’s Last Gift from the get-go when XCOM 2 arrives early next year.

XCOM 2 will launch on February 5, 2016.
