Ubisoft has quietly registered a domain for something called the “Assassin’s Creed Collection,” sparking speculation that the historically-focused action-adventure series is being remastered for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and maybe even Windows PC. However, as is usually the case, details are unavailable and all we have to go on is the domain itself.

Said activity was spotted by NeoGAF user ekim, who took to the forum with the news and posted a screen grab of what he’d discovered. That is, a listing showing that a new domain was registered on Ubisoft.com, with the address being “assassinscreedcollection.com.” Other than that, there’s a date, which shows that the registration was completed over this past weekend.

It’s certainly possible that what we’re talking about here is a remastered collection featuring all (or maybe just some) of the many last-gen Assassin’s Creed games, but it’s too early to tell. After all, there’s a chance that this Assassin’s Creed Collection domain doesn’t even tie into a game at all, and is perhaps something to do with clothing.

We’ll just have to wait and see.
