Not keen on being left out of the recent parade of movie trailers, Marvel has today debuted the official intentional trailer for Captain America: Civil War, which features a slightly more truncated version of the one that lit up the internet only a fortnight ago.
Eagle-eyed viewers make be able to be spot one or two new shots, but for the most part, this is more of the same from Marvel – a snippet of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes finding themselves on opposite ends of the superhero legislation.
[zerg]Behind the lens for Civil War are Joe and Anthony Russo, and recently fans were treated to an array of information about the upcoming threequel, from the comic relief infused into the script to the fact that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will be introduced with a twist. How and ever, Holland’s webslinger still remains under wraps even after today’s international teaser, and it’s likely that Marvel will keep the grand reveal of Spidey until closer to the film’s May release date.
Beyond that, there’s also the question of which side he’ll fall on when the chips come down, which is a conundrum that’s also looming over key players such as Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther and Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow.
