Hail, Caesar! follows a typical day-in-the-life of a Hollywood studio “fixer” played by Josh Brolin. A general dogsbody, saddled with duties no-one else wants, he’s tasked with locating a major movie star (George Clooney) who’s been kidnapped. Even that brief overview drips with all the elements of a trusted Coen movie; a mystery, a glorious setting, and a man who’s stuck in a tenuous position.

While the trailer debuted several months back, Universal has upped the marketing game and treated us to the first TV spot. It mainly consists of footage from the main trailer, with the occasional flash of new material here and there. It would undoubtedly be a pleasure to delve deeper into this richly-constructed world of glitz and glamor, yet it’s also refreshing to have something to look forward to when the movie hits cinemas. Check out the video above and be sure to let us know if you’ll be heading out to see the Coens’ latest.

Hail, Caesar! opens on February 5, 2016.
