The premise of this latest marketing stunt for Deadpool is that we’re going to be treated to twelve days of goodies from the Merc with the Mouth before that new trailer launches. Will all of this pay off in the end for the movie? That remains to be seen. Deadpool’s R-Rating means it has a lower budget, but if audiences don’t fancy the look/tone of the film, it’s going to bring the potential new franchise to an end very quickly.

Of course, with Kingsman: The Secret Service vastly over-performing at the box office this year, moviegoers clearly have an interest in more adult orientated comic book adaptations. Plus, the very fact that Deadpool is a superhero has got to give this movie a decent chance of succeeding.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano and Brianna Hildebrand, Deadpool is set to be released on February 12th, 2016.
