As the 12 Days of Deadpool marketing campaign continues building towards a brand new trailer for the Merc with a Mouth’s first solo big-screen outing, this latest promo reminds us that we only have three more days to go. Oh, and it’ll be Christmas day then too, I guess.
So far, these spots have only featured Ryan Reynolds doing his thing as the titular Marvel antihero, but this time he’s joined by actor/comedian T.J, Miller, who will play Deadpool’s pal Weasel in the movie. This guy definitely seems to know his way around a Christmas tree… and a pair of short shorts too, apparently.
In addition to the trailer, December 25th will be a time for plenty of basketball, and the teaser above also serves as a reminder that you’ll only be able to catch Wade’s shenanigans by tuning in to the NBA on ESPN… at least, until it’s officially released online. Which shouldn’t take too long.
Deadpool also stars Morena Baccarin as Copycat, Ed Skrein as Ajax, Gina Carano as Angel Dust and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead. The Tim Miller-directed movie is set to be released on February 12th, 2016.
