Deadpool’s Empire Magazine Cover Officially Unveiled

Earlier today, an expletive laden video was released featuring the Merc with the Mouth promoting his upcoming Empire Magazine feature. However, that didn't really give us a very good look at Deadpool, so it's a good thing that the publisher has now officially released it during a week they promise is going to be packed full of fresh content from the highly anticipated movie.

Earlier today, an expletive laden video was released featuring the Merc with the Mouth promoting his upcoming Empire Magazine feature. However, that didn’t really give us a very good look at Deadpool, so it’s a good thing that the publisher has now officially released it during a week they promise is going to be packed full of fresh content from the highly anticipated movie.

In the aforementioned video, Deadpool (well, Ryan Reynolds, though it’s getting harder to tell the difference between the two) mentioned that he’s taken control of the next issue of Empire, and it’s going to be fun to see just how much of an impact the character ends up having on it. Either way, with the movie now so close to being released, what the magazine reveals at such a late stage is also going to be interesting.

More official images would be cool, especially as the character is sporting perhaps THE most comic accurate costume from all of 2016’s superhero movies. We’ll just have to wait and see, but be sure to check back here later this week for more.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano, and Brianna Hildebrand, Deadpool is set to be released on February 12th, 2016.
