Electronic music veteran Guru Josh, a DJ/producer best known for his 1990 track, “Infinity,” has reportedly died at the age of 51 in Ibiza. While the official cause of death remains unknown, sources close to the artist suggest that it was in fact a suicide.
According to the sources, Guru Josh had been suffering from depression for a significant amount of time and found himself at a low point following Christmas, so he booked a flight home to the U.S. to see his father. When his manager arrived at his Ibiza residence to take him to the airport around 11:00 AM, he discovered Josh’s body. The family is allegedly making burial arrangements with a mortuary.
