After thoroughly making 2015 count, LA-based DJ/producers Lost Kings look to be eager to put a dent in 2016 as well. The duo have released a remix of G-Eazy and Bebe Rexha’s “Me, Myself & I” that makes for a fitting lineation of their signature progressive house style.
With the pitch of the top line lowered and its tempo sped up, Lost Kings’ remix of “Me, Myself & I” incorporates the shimmering synth work that has become their calling card into a largely percussion-driven arrangement. Wavering pad synths at each breakdown elevate the energy of the production, which is especially upbeat considering the topic matter of the song’s lyrics.
As Lost Kings‘ instantly recognizable style continues to garner them more and more fans, it stands to reason that they’ll truly blossom in 2016.
