Extended Trailer For Arrow Reveals Some Big Surprises And Spoilers

Arrow returns to The CW tomorrow night, and the network has now released a two minute sizzle reel which offers up an idea of what's to come in the second half of the show's fourth season. There are a lot of unexpected reveals here, including the return of Katana. Most fans had assumed that the character's role in Suicide Squad meant we wouldn't see her in Arrow again, so this is definitely exciting news.

Meanwhile, we also get to see how Roy Harper (the former Arsenal) returns to Star City and a big hint that it could be Thea Queen who ends up in that grave. If that is indeed the case, there are going to be a lot of very upset fans of the show.

Much of the footage in this trailers appears to hail from tomorrow night’s midseason premiere, and for further information on that, here’s the official synopsis:

THE AFTERMATH — Oliver (Stephen Amell) must deal with the devastating consequences of Darhk’s (guest star Neal McDonough) last attack. Seeking revenge, Oliver goes on a brutal manhunt looking for Dahrk. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Oscar Balderrama & Sarah Tarkoff.

After the mixed reception to season three of Arrow, this run has been a huge improvement over what’s come before, and the preview above certainly highlights that.
